Note: I fully realize I’ve been living in this Adidas top lately.  I’m not sorry.  I love it.  And is it just me or is Adidas gear so cheap?! Before I get into today’s workout, I have to talk about my lately fitness obsession which is…wait for it…a hair elastic.  Lol. Eye roll, right? Scroll down if you’re over it already, but seriously I’ve been on the hunt for good elastics that won’t break your hair while you workout.  For those of you who are in my {hair obsessed} boa, check out  L. SO! Yesterday was so. much. fun! Thank you to everyone who came out to our tabata workout/Arbonne Nutrition event! We got our sweat on and enjoyed amazing vegan, sugar free desserts, while learning from the best of the best re: plant based nutrition. Thank you to Elle Fitness for partnering with us! Summer bods are made in the winter….err….spring?

I wanted to share the workout I taught yesterday.  Not only is it a great workout but it’s one that can be done from virtually anywhere with no equipment necessary!  Here’s the 25 minute tabata home workout:

Warmup: jog on the spot for 30 seconds, high knees for 30 seconds, butt kick jogs for 30 seconds, high knees for 30 seconds, jumping jacks for 1 minute.

Round 1:

  1. Jump squats (1 minute)
  2. Squat pulses (1 minute)
  3. Plank jacks (1 minute)
    (rest 30 seconds, repeat the round twice)

Round 2:

  1. Ski jumps (1 minute)
  2. Reverse lunges (1 minute)
  3. Wall squats (1 minute)
    (rest 30 seconds, repeat the round twice)

Round 3:

  1. Pushups (1 minute)
  2. Plank shoulder taps (1 minute)
  3. Standing to walkout planks (1 minute)
    (rest 30 seconds, repeat the round twice)

Burnout:

– 45 seconds of burpees
– 30 seconds boat pose
– 30 seconds side plank with leg lifts on right side
– 30 seconds side plank with leg lifts on left side
